I know I'm too late coz' I just recently upgraded to windows 7 from XP :)
But I'm having problems with my audio and video after installing winodws 7
I already installed latest drivers for both but my audio has some kind of static noise. It is lessen when I set it to minimum bit and hertz but i still hear a bit. As for the video, I know I only have a very poor internal video card but games really lags even Warcraft 3. I can't even change the brightness in Warcraft. I'm really curious because I don't experience both of these problems in XP PS: I now have dual boot XP with my 7 so I actually compare them....hope someone can help me. Thanks :)

I've already run the windows 7 upgrade advisor, it said my system is compatible with 32 and even 64 bit version of windows 7, my sound card and video card are listed as compatible devices. I just don't get why I get different experience with XP and windows 7 :). Anyway, thanks for the reply

You're welcome. I don't understand why it's fine in XP and static-y in Windows 7 either.
You could try Phyxion.net - Downloads and remove your current Audio and Video drivers and then reinstall your new ones. Have the new ones saved and ready to launch.
Win 7 has 1000's of built-in drivers and may conflict with what you installed or you may have some bits of the former drivers left over. Driver Sweeper will clean any left-over bits.

I solved the audio problem. I found someone with the same problem and older version of the sound driver did the work. I don't understand, I thought installing latest drivers is the best thing to do. Anyway, I hope this method works on my video problems too. i'll try to find older version for it.

bad news, older version for my video driver isn't solving the problem :( LOL
maybe best choice for me is to buy a BETTER video card and power supply since I only have 250 watts or maybe buy a new CPU LOL :D
