Hi, I'm working with FL Studio 9 and every time I play something. I get this crackling noise, or audio latency I think it's called. I've looked around and I think I have to increase or decrease my sound cards buffer. My problem is I don't know how to do so...Can anyone help me resolve this problem? Thank you.

Hi and welcome

Latency, I believe is the time between when the video displays and the audio sounds. If crackling I suspect a driver or hardware. I dont know which sound card so cant tell you if/how to change its buffer

It sounds like you may have your latency too low. You should be able to alter it within Fruity Loops in the audio preferences

Disable any cpu throttling in the bios like Cool N Quiet etc...

Only mid-range to high-end professional gear can have the latencies and buffers altered.
