Windows 7 back to XP

I had an older computer that had XP on it so I installed windows 7 and it ran OK, but slower than when it had XP. To go back to XP do I just do as you normally would and use my XP disk and format it and install and when it calls for the previous operating disk stick my windows ME disk in.

I would follow these steps to be absolutely sure you don't run into any problems.

It will only call for a previous OS if your XP disk is the upgrade version but yes that will work fine.

Thank You to everyone for your replies. i think I'll just use my xp upgrade disk and pop in the Me disk when called for.

Make sure you format at the disk screen.
