Windows 7 backup program not working

One more thing, I'm having another issue that I want to get some help on dealing with the Windows 7 backup program not working. What is the best way to post about this? I'm new to this and don't understand about creating new threads, etc and how to do it. Do I do a search on the top and see what has been posted (which I did and it said it was 308 days ago) or do I someone create a new one? I have no issue following forum protocol. I just need to be directed to the 'how do do things on here' if there is one listed.

Seeing as I am already here, in a nutshell, I am trying to set up the Windows 7 back up program for the first time and it is giving me the 0x80070002 error message. It says it cannot find the file specified but doesn't tell me what file it cannot find. I'm saving to the second hard drive (which has 325 GB free space) and not an external device so I don't know why it is not working. I've used the default settings to let windows decide what to backup save. It fails with the same error message each time.

Thanks again,
Jeff

Scenario 3 would be me but only the 4 GB of ram. I did the Microsoft fix but still get the same error message when I run the backup. I do not have an exteral USB drive attached to the computer. Any other ideas out there?
