Windows 7 Backup

After running Windows 7 backup (using Win7 Backup and Restore) to a Seagate External HD, the backup completes with "errors" (three files that are not important) however opposite Last Backup it records "Never"? Checking the EHD the image and file & folder backups appear to be there? I have installed another HD with the same result. It is disconcerting to see "Never". Any suggestions for resolution are appreciated, TKS,
