Windows 7 Basic Theme Problem. Please Help!!

I have been having weird behavior with the Windows 7 Basic Theme. Whenever I maximize a window, minimize or restore down a window. I get a short freeze when the action is being down and strangely when using the basic theme it kind of makes the FPS of my games drops. I'm not really good with computer but I thought the basic theme is suppose to help improve them performance of a computer. Please help and thank you very much for your time Looking forward to your replies

I prefer the Classic Theme on my 2 Win7 pc's.

Try using the Windows Classic theme as suggested or do some performance/graphics tweaks using any of these software:

Ultimate Windows Tweaker

Windows 7 Manager

Be careful though, as you cannot avoid the dangers and risks.

If so, I'd suggest you to do a http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/700-system-restore.html to a date before those tweaking done . And in future, dont tweak anything without being sure what are you doing . In this forums, there are a number of experts who can assist you in such things.

Yes Arc, great advice thank you. I posted this thread after I had a reformat but some reason Im still getting this problem. So Im not sure if it's still got something to do with the tweak I have done..
