I've read a couple of posts, but I need to explain myself, that's why I created this post.

So, my laptop isn't booting normaly, I had this "Critical Error" on startup and I did the repair with the cd, It said that everything was fine, so I restarted my pc and I had this black screen with the moveable cursor in it. I tried everything, Ctrl+Alt+Del=No response
Safemode, gives me that list when loading drivers, but it freezes at disk.sys (I think its that one, ill upload more info later) after the froze, gets back to the black screen w/ cursor, and still no response from any command... When my pc was good, I had installed an update for the game "Combat Arms", with the repair process, I can acess to the disk and delete/search stuff, I dont know if I should try to delete that game, or any other possible infected file...Please, Idont want to lose anything from my HDD );

Ill upload more info tomorrow, really hope you guys can help me, every little help is important to me, im just 14, but I know a couple things about tech...

Hey there, I'm not sure what's quite happening because I never experienced this problem. But, I would suggest repairing your computer to a earlier point of time, or completely renewing it by using the "System Repair" tool. How long have you had your computer, and was it used before you, or mom, etc. Brought it?

Hi,

Kindly follow the below mentioned steps in order:
1. Confirm Hard Drive is recognized in BIOS. If yes, follow next step. If NO, load BIOS defaults.
2. Boot to Safe mode and perform system restore. System Restore will affect Windows system files, programs, and registry settings only. If system restore fails or unable to access safe mode, follow next step.
3. Run Start Up repair from the URL mentioned: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows-vista/Startup-Repair-frequently-asked-questions
4. If the issue still persists, then try running the Hardware Diagnostics. If you get any error code, make a note of the error code.

Let me know the Results

Let me know the Results

1. My BIOS detects my HDD
2.I cant boot to safe mode, when its loading the drivers, it freezes at "disk.sys" for a couple os seconds, and then I get the black screen with mouse at resolution 640x320, Oh, and by the way, can I copy the folder "drivers" from this computer, and put them in the other pc, to see if it works?
3.I had already tried the system restore, but It seems that I dont have any restore points...
4. How do I run a Hardware Diagnostics, do I have to burn it to the CD/DVD and boot it? Links please!! (:

Ill try to post some images today, but when I am at System Recovery Options, I can easily go to "System Image Recovery" and search All of the folders, so, that means I can delete/move/copy stuff...

One more thing, IF I search any "system image" online, will that affect my personal file, or just the System files?

QUICK UPDATE
I had this PXE Error, the "check cable" one, but I sent it to a AirForce specialist, and He bought me a new charger, and that fixed the problem xD, before that I had no problems, but I think that the error has something to do with me updating that game, that probably putted virus into my System32 files... Idont know if I should try to delete the game or what...

The Seatools drive test and memtest can be on bootable mediums, the GPU test cannot.

Verify the HD is bad with the actual HD maker's HD Diagnostic extended CD scan, followed by Disk Check run from System Recovery Options Command line.

If HD passes then work through the other steps in Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Start starting with the bootable virus scan and including the memtest.

Sorry for being away.

Well, apparently my HDD could'nt read anything, Im waiting for my new HDD to come...

Ill just mark this as solved and close it, thank you all for the support ;')
