Hi Guys, Have read through a few threads and it seems you have helped out others in the same sort of predicament. I have windows 7 64bit, I really at the moment only have photoshop CS4 (64 bit) mcafee, and a few games installed and my system crashes about once a day.

I did have tons of games and programs installed on this laptop before but i was getting about 10 random crashes a day so i did a clean install and started again but the problem has arisen again.

My system specs are:
Acer Aspire 7738g
Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 2.2Ghz
Nvidia GeForce Gt240M
4Gb DDR3

I have uploaded a .rar file with 3 minidumps as well.

Thanks!!

Tom

Welcome!

It looks like all of them were caused by your nVidia driver nvlddmkm.sys. Try uninstalling your nVidia drivers and installing the latest version.

You may need to try many different drivers until you get satisfactory results.

Good luck!

aaahhh ok, so if I uninstall, reboot, then should i not necessarily install the latest driver for my video card but try a few out?

really hope this works, thanks so much.

Often times the driver Windows Update finds is not the same as the latest one released by the manufacturer.

I can't tell you that the latest driver is going to work, or the oldest one you can find. Different drivers work for different people, for whatever reason.
