I find the following outdated drivers on your system. Windows 7 does not pay well with older drivers.
Apfiltr.sys Fri Mar 14 08:23:10 2008 (47DA6E2E)
b57nd60x.sys Sun Apr 26 07:15:34 2009 (49F44256)
bcmwl6.sys Thu Mar 26 20:58:48 2009 (49CC24C8)
BisonC07.sys Fri Jun 19 07:41:20 2009 (4A3B7960)
GEARAspiWDM.sys Mon May 18 08:16:53 2009 (4A1151B5)
iaStor.sys Thu Jun 04 21:42:33 2009 (4A287809)
igdkmd32.sys Fri Jul 03 12:33:51 2009 (4A4E32EF)
I recommend that you update these obsolete drivers, especially Apfiltr.sys - which is an Alps Pointing-device Driver or Alps Touch Pad Driver belongs to the software Alps Pointing-device Driver for Windows 2000/XP or Alps Touch Pad Filter Driver for Windows 2000/XP or Alps Touch Pad Driver for Windows 2000/XP or Alps Pointing-device Filter Driver by Alps Electric Co., Ltd (www.alps.com).

How to find drivers:
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads

I also recommend that you enable Driver Verifier.

Using Driver Verifier to identify issues with Drivers
Please follow these instructions in order to run it:
[FONT=&quot]Using Driver Verifier is an iffy proposition. Most times it'll crash and it'll tell you what the driver is. But sometimes it'll crash and won't tell you the driver. Other times it'll crash before you can log in to Windows. If you can't get to Safe Mode, then you'll have to resort to offline editing of the registry to disable Driver Verifier.

So, I'd suggest that you first backup your stuff and then make sure you've got access to another computer so you can contact us if problems arise. Then make a System Restore point (so you can restore the system using the Vista/Windows 7 Startup Repair feature).

Then, here's the procedure:
- Go to Start and type in "verifier" (without the quotes) and press Enter
- Select "Create custom settings (for code developers)" and click "Next"
- Select "Select individual settings from a full list" and click "Next"
- Select everything EXCEPT FOR "Low Resource Simulation" and click "Next"
- Select "Select driver names from a list" and click "Next"
Then select all drivers NOT provided by Microsoft and click "Next"
- Select "Finish" on the next page.

Reboot the system and wait for it to crash to the Blue Screen. Continue to use your system normally, and if you know what causes the crash, do that repeatedly. The objective here is to get the system to crash because Driver Verifier is stressing the drivers out. If it doesn't crash for you, then let it run for at least 36 hours of continuous operation (an estimate on my part).

Reboot into Windows (after the crash) and turn off Driver Verifier by going back in and selecting "Delete existing settings" on the first page, then locate and zip up the memory dump file and upload it with your next post.

Please post back with any questions.

Thanks for the extremely quick response, i've also had a MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSOD. I've scanned with memtest and found no issues.

I noticed in that log there was reference to a vista driver? Could it be i've installed a out of date driver?

I edited my original post, You may need to refresh the page.

To answer your question, a memory management BSOD can be triggered by several things such driver conflicts, defective RAM, program incompatibility, etc. This particular dump pointed to driver problems and that is why I started with those.

Jonathan is right on target; run Driver Verifier.

When you ran memtest, how many passes did you run? I recommend at least seven passes using memtest 86+.

Leave Verifier running for as long as 36 hours, and use your computer normally while you do.

If it doesn't BSOD in 36 hours, turn it off.

Still nothing. Think it may be due to overheating?

I've also found that after a bluescreen my bios doesn't start automatically, and just hangs on a black screen. I have to turn the machine off by either holding in the power button or taking out the battery [extreme circumstances].

Please test your temperatures with Speedfan and post the results here: SpeedFan - Access temperature sensor in your computer

Remove any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done: DuplexSecure - Downloads

Post back if the problem is not solved. I have my own suspicions that your graphics card is failing, but let's save that for next post.
