Hi all,
So I was playing Need for speed Underground 2 on my PC and it froze. I restarted it, went into the game again, the same thing happened. Only this time when i rebooted, Windows couldn't load. I saw the Windows logo and then a black screen. I rebooted and did a startup repair, but it couldn't figure out the problem. Any ideas? Maybe the RAM? Thanks :D

Always run the the startup repair 3 times,
no need to reboot into the panel and do it 3 times tho,
just backout using the options provided and keep running it.
There's a post on the forums somewhere about why you have to do that.

Now to find the problem,
What vid card are you using?
Could be a simple fix, from not running a fan controller software like evga precision or msi afterburner..
as there is no stock fan profile.

If that's not the problem, check cpu temps,, with something like coretemp32 or 64 bit version.
Maybe get furmark or occt and stress test your comp a little to get the temps up in an environment that allows you to see the temps.. without tabbing out of programs.

I'm using a Nvidia Geforce 8800GTS. I tried removing one RAM stick, that didn't work. I have 2 Patriot 1GB sticks and a Kingmax 2GB that I added recently.
