Hi all.
I'm having some serious issues with my new home build. I thought it would be a good idea to do it all myself, and I have enjoyed it the experience so far, but the problems I am encountering now are starting to make me regret it all!
Basically, I am getting a regular stream of BSOD's and have had to reinstall windows 3 times already. The problem seems to occur when I boot up after the system has been switched off for more than an hour. It restarts fine during a session, and has run without error for up to 10 hours, but first thing in the morning when I switch it on, I encounter problems. The first 2 times, Windows failed to load so I could not retrieve any information to help in diagnosing the problem, but this time I've managed to keep it open long enough to have a go!
I have run memtest a few times for 1 hour without error. I also used OCCT and Prime 95 without error on their 1 hour tests.
Could someone please help me with this as I am totally lost?

System Spec:
-Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit OEM Version. Bought as DVD, installed by me.
-All Hardware was purchased on the 22nd October
-Current OS installed for 1 day
-Intel i5-760 2.88Ghz w/ Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 Cooler
-Sapphire ATi HD 5450 1GB DDR 3
-4GB (2x2GB) OCZ 1333Mhz DDR 3 Platinum i5 Kit
-500w Arctic Power 500w PSU

If any more information is needed, let me know. I'm new to all this!
Thanks in advance.
Jamie

I followed the instructions as per the BSOD posting thread so does that mean the error dump file wasn't created or have I done something wrong?

There is no directory there, so I'm guessing that everything is OK on this install so far?
If so I will see what happens and post if/when the next BSOD happens. Sorry if I have wasted your time!
