Windows 7 BSOD with VMware

Hi,

I have Win 7 and had a pretty severe crash earlier in the week that I couldn't recover from nor explain so I did a complete reinstall. Everything with the reinstall of windows seemed to be going ok then I installed vmware and backtrack. Everything worked fine originally running BT.

To complicate things, I installed vmware from my desktop and then installed backtrack from a copy I had on my windows.old directory but then I accidentally deleted the BT files when cleaning up some space. After that VMware would cause the BSOD (which flickers and is unreadable). I tried to uninstall/reinstall VMware but that hasn't helped, I keep getting the same problem. I wonder if deleting the files is causing this or just a coincidence? Any help would be appreciated. I've attached the dump files.

Nothing else has caused the computer to act up so far.

I have a gateway MT 6452, AMD Turion x64 with on board Radeon xpress 1150 video. I also have it set up for triple booting vista, win7 and Lucid.

Thanks,

Tom

Thanks, that did the trick. I guess I forgot about the step where I installed the media card reader driver. I couldn't find anything at TI so I downloaded the driver from Gateway and it fixed the problem.

Thanks again!!!!
