windows 7 can't create/locate a system partition

Its the "new" button I haven't seen yet.

I'd imagine that's where you can create the partition size and types. Try and start from scratch, by deleting the current partitions on the disk, click new, follow instructions on how to make a primary partition, format it, and click next to continue the install.

the only option i have when creating a new partition is the size nothing else
i've tried everything in this menu a thousand times by now i don't think i'll find the solution there

well so i went to a friends place today to do a proper format and now it seems to work
it's sad that windows 7 can't format a harddrive properly because that's all i did on his machine a full reformat
