windows 7 color problem[SOLVED]

hey.

so I had xp earlier and everything was fine the color was in the right tone, for a few reasons i had to reformat and I installed win7 instead.

now every time i watch a video anywhere or play a game the colors are off and not showing well.

the colors aren't showing well as if its too bright or something,and the whole video is distorted overall which didn't happen before

I tried different video card drivers and nothing helps, also tried adjusting it with the nvidia control panel and still it happens.

look at the areas marked its too dark and the colors aren't showing well + the video has distortion.

also in games the brightness is just too high no matter what and coloring also isn't showing well.

any idea whats up with this?

it only started happening when I installed win7.

I fixed it by downloading some update for my monitor through windows update at least i think that fixed it also installed a few windows updates.
