Windows 7 corrupt?

I have just reformatted and reinstalled Windows 7 ultimate from my USB today (not activated) and it all went well. Though when I went to the desktop, the resolution was all messed up and I can't connect to the Internet either even though everything is working fine with my router and Internet and stuff. So then I go to see if I can uninstall any programs and it shows there are no programs at all. What could be the problem?

There`s no programs because you didn`t install any yet. Correct ???

Go into device manager and see if you need any drivers. You probably need a network adaptor driver. Then you can use windows update to get the rest of the updates.

Is this your 1st time doing an install ?
