Windows 7 Crashes after Sleep

I understand that this has probably been covered before but my Gateway NV52 has some sreious issues and this is one of them so maybe there is more too it.

System Specs.

Gateway NV52

1. AMD Athlon 64 X2 QL-64
2. 15.6" 16:9 HD LED LCD
3. 320 GB HDD
4. 4 GB Memory (NOT UPGRADABLE!!!!!)
5. DVD-SUPER MULTI DL DRIVE
6. WEBCAM
7. MULTI-in-1 card reader

A year ago you guys helped me with a clean install of a Win 7 disk. One major issue I am experiencing is that the computer REFUSES to turn on, just refuses. I have to take the battery out and hold down the power button for a reset and do this 30-50 times before it actually loads. Most of the time the computer will turn on but the screan will be blank and you can only hear the fan go. From what my studies have shown is that this is an issues with a power cable between the power switch and the mother board. I ordered a new power cable.

After the computer starts it runs great. Untill the screen saver kicks in which is a blank screen. I have to keep the computer on all the time and just reset it daily because if I turn it off I can't get it back on. When I sat down at my computer this morning the screen was blank as it should be, then I moved the mouse, the desktop appears and the mouse moves but I cannot click on any icons or open the start menu. Then the mouse stops moving, I then have to force the system off and then go through the hell of getting it started again.


Please help? Serious issues here.

Thank you but I just gave up and sent it back to the company. No way around it it refuses to stay on even in recovery mode or for any reason. Takes me too long to get it to turn on as well and all for it to shut off.
