This problem has been pissing me off for a while because since two weeks ago after Steam installed some AMD program or something, my windows 7 has been crashing after 5 or 7 minutes. At first, i just clean boot it after restarting it a couple of times, but now it comes back. I don't understand why, but it just does. I'd try clean booting and finding out the possible programs and i'm still having problems with the crashing. I have notice that every time the computer crashes or stalls, there is an orange beeping light on the desktop just freezes and remains on so i'm thinking there might be a memory problem,

please help....

Computer Specs:
AMD Phenom II 840T Quadcore
4GB DDR3 Memory
ATI Radeon HD 4200
Realtek Sound Driver

I don't think it is a driver issue because the computer does not crash on safe mode

My Computer

OS
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
I'm also thinking of a full system restore to factory condition but it's only the last option and a drastic one too so please reply
