Solved Windows 7 crashing randomly

Hi all, and thank you for your time.

I had bought new computer and having problems all the time... cant figure what is going on... it freezes when playing games, doing schoolwork or even when just browsing the internet. Sometimes with BSOD, sometimes it freezes and i have to restart it, sometimes it just restarts itself...

Here are my dump files. Tnx for help.

And overclocking is a foremost cause of stop 0x124.

As you are getting BSODs, you should stop overclocking and run all the hardware components like CPU, GPU and RAM to their default settings. See how it runs at the stock hardware settings.

Ok, thank you. So how can i stop overclocking?

i didnt, this is the way my computer was bought i went to bios and set all to default, but computer freezed today again...

You set the BIOS to defaults? Well done.

It is generally said that the stop 0x124 is a hardware related BSOD, but actually it may be caused by anything and everything associated with the computer's environment. Let us start with some basic hardware checks .....

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.

How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+

Run memtest86+ for at least 8 consecutive passes.

If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.

Take a screenshot of the furmark window before closing it. Upload the screenshot for us.

Stress test the CPU.

Hardware - Stress Test With Prime95
​

It saves the result as a .txt file in the prime95's folder. Upload the file for us.

Check if the Power Supply Unit (PSU) supplying adequate power to the computer or not.

Also let us know the wattage of the PSU.

Tnx for help, a will try all u recommended for now tried prime95, and computer crashed after about one hour and half... temp was little high for cpu-about 60 celsius, others were ok, and when it restarted aux was 75 celsius, should i be worried? Will try it again now and report what happened.

So it crashed during Prime95?

Can you supply the log .txt file that prime95 created? Your report makes that file important.

Yes, crushed during the prime test, i lunched it again and run some time, this are files.

From Thu Feb 26 22:00:21 2015 to Fri Feb 27 02:07:26 2015 ... that is almost over 2wo full hours, all the self tests were passes. There is no sign of hardware failure, but still it crashed.

Most probably it is overheating.

Stop testing for the time being and do the Speccy as stated in post #8:

I thought so, started it already will report soon.

How long should I test it and is Speccy the best? When I run HWMonitor at same time temperatures that it shows are higher than in Speccy. Tnx again for all help and time. U are realy lifesaver.

HWMonitor records temps categorically, as mix, avg and min over a period; whereas speccy records the temp of a particular point of time.

You need not to keep Speccy open all the time. Use the computer for one or two hours of your "normal" usage. Then open Speccy up and take the shot.

Apparently it is not overheating, too.

But, may be Prime95 is putting it to a heat.

Do the prime95 test once again? Check after every 10 minutes, see how the temperature of the CPU or motherboard increases over time?

We are searching for the behavior of the CPU under any sort of stress. May be it will lead us to a conclusion.

Speccy or HWMonitor, which one is easier to you.

If you are using HWMonitor, it will be good if you use it as sensors only.

i performed prime again, it passed temperatures were little bit high, here is a screen shoot of HWMonitor when i stopped prime.

Now I am wondering what happened at the first run that it crashed.

Anyway, now proceed with teh other tests as stated in post #8, and let us know the results.
