I have been using Sound Blaster Live 5.1 digital Sound Card Model No SB0220 for several years with Windows XP. Loaded W7, does not recognise Sound Card. Tried to load Sound Blaster software from original disk however this method failed also. Begins to load but then it just stops and I get a message saying that sound card is faulty. Has anyone else had the same problem? appreciate advice on the issue.

Did you check with the Windows 7 Compatibility Center to make sure your sound card can be used with Windows 7? If it is compatible, it might just be a case of finding the correct drivers. Try visiting your sound card manufacter website to download current drivers for Windows 7. If Windows 7 drivers are not available, the Vista drivers may work.

Hope this helps! Let us know if you are still having issues.
