So, I purchased a download-able version of Windows 7 Ultimate through Journeyed.com
They offer student discounts and whatnot, but when I downloaded it, it went through the download and "unpacking" phases, but when I clicked to install it, it wouldn't work.
I checked the folder, and all it has is:
en_windows_7_ultimate_win64_x15-80008.img
X15-80008.img.md5
I am updating from Vista Ultimate x64, which came with my laptop when I purchased it.
As you can tell, I was downloading the 64 bit version.
I am lost, and I do not know what to do.
Should I try renaming the files?
I know with an ISO you have to burn the file to a disc before being able to install it, but I have never encountered a MD5 file before.
Thank you for your help!
