Windows 7 drivers

I Installed windows 7.Love it soo much.
Everything is Fine.
But iam having problem with audio.
My motherboard is Asus a8n-vm..Windows 7 does'nt recognize my Onboard Soundmax HD Audio.
Windows 7 drivers are not available in asus website also..
Now what do i do?? i really don't want to move back to XP again.:huh:

You can use vista drivers, and maybe even XP, if you install it in compatibility mode. to do that right click the installer>properties>compatibility mode>check OS

thankss..
there is no compatibility mode option.
Vista drivers are also not available.
i tried using XP drivers.it installed fine.. but after restarting the system i got this message "No ADI codec installed".

This is how it looks now(1st image)..other image was from XP.

You may need to install some type of Legacy drivers...

Hiya pal

Your system spec shows that you have "creative live 5.1" sound card aswell.
Why don't you disable your "sound max" on-board card from the bios and use the creative one instead

@PooMan UK .ya that is an option..but that card wont be available for me all the time..
I want my onboard to work.
But anyways thanks..if nothing works i can get a sound card..that will do it..
I dont understand why Asus is not launching win7 drivers for my motherboard.
