Hello.
Windows DVD maker stopped working and never worked from day 1
I have a acer desktop computer and i installed windows 7 soon as i got my new computer .
I make animated cartoons and videos but i am confussed because i would love to make DVDs with my stuff on.
1st of all i select the video files i want to put on the dvd as normal.
Then select Next! I then get the following message: Windows DVD Maker has stopped Working, Windows is checking for a solution to the problem.
Then program resets or closes

It never resolved itself and i want to be able to make DVDs of my creations.
This is a Bad introduction to windows 7 and my new pc.
Is it windows thats the problem or my acer desktop pc?
I will be very greatful if anybody can help me resolve this thanx.

Which version of Win7 (home, pro, ult, upgrade or full?) and where did you acquire it?

My windows 7 can goto heaven

Im running windows 7 home. I was sent a windows 7 from Acer because i buyed my pc when it was out. and when i registered my details they sent me the software to install over my defalt windows vista.
I have just done the registry scan and had 265 errors
I should not have to buy software because my computer didnt work correctly out the box.
Maybe i should revert back to windows vista i guess!
thanks for ya advice

NO! Dont go back to Vista!!!

Your issue is probably due to the fact that Movie Maker in Win7 is different than in Vista. If you want to do a clean install using that upgrade disc you received from Acer try this... http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/31402-clean-install-upgrade-windows-7-version.html?filter
