Hi,

I have been creating a system image of a computer that I am going to deploy on multiple computers. I took the system image from the "Backup and Restore" function in the control panel.

The guide asked me if I wanted to create a boot disk that I could use to boot up and restore the image I have made. I did that, and it works just perfect. The system image is on an external hard drive.

I suppose that the disk is containing EMS (Emergency Management Services) where I can restore from a system image, make system restore, get CMD terminal etc.

It boots just fine on the DVD that I burned. But I really want to boot from the external hard drive that also contains all system images that I am going to use. The only folder on the hard drive is a folder called "images" containing the images I have made.

I tried copying everything on the DVD to the root of my external hard drive, but it just won't boot up when I make a quick boot from the hard drive. I suppose that I have to make it "bootable" or something. This is where I need your help.

Can I make my external hard drive EMS bootable so the system imaging restore can boot up from my hard drive, and I don't need to carry on a DVD with me on every computer I am restoring?

Thanks in advance!
