It can't be repaired.

So, the serious one i'm in trouble about... which is a burning one... idk if this a real virus or not b/c my CA Anti-Virus picked it up, and my PC Tools don't see anything in it.

But i'm really concern about this, and It has something to do with my computer...

please...reply and or fix or something about this ASAP b/c if i accidently delete it, it either going to disable my pc features or something. Also it say I can't delete it... O.o

Hi,

If you want to remove it , you have to go to the CAAntispy.exe in the program Files (x86) folder, right click, select Properties >Compatibility and tick the Run as Admin box , Apply and OK

Haven't come across that message myself tho I do have MFPlay.dll file, but CA is usually pretty reliable.

You could double check with this free app.

Hope it helps

Yes you do have a trojan, and you need to delete it. AVG or Simantec have programs for deleting Trojans that you can download. It is a typical trojan to force your brower to open with another website.

Yeah I tried that, I tried Windows Vista compaitiblity, xp, and so on but it won't remove it so I guessing it might be in everyone's pc (well, depend which pc and os they have ya know) so... I guess i'll leave it alone for awhile... might be part of my system anyway b/c i can't delete it.

Chambery, I see you are in TN, but it looks like the Yahoo refers to CA (canada). Could that be the problem?
Opps, just realized CA is for Computer Associates. I guess I was reading your posts too fast!

I have mfplay.dll too in the system 32 folder and the sysWOW64 folder as well. I don't think you want to be removing this dll. It's part of the OS. Probably a false positive on yahoo antispys part.

mfplayer.dll REMOVAL! I"VE REMOVE THIS FILE AFTER A FIGHT W/ -[CA] IN TRYING TO CORRECT THIS ISSUE.
IT CAN BE REMOVED W/O ANY ISSUES COMING TO THE FOREFRONT OF YOUR WINDOWS 7 OPERATING PROGRAM!
Now by just simply going to your -[ system32] area, and locating the -[mfplayer.dll] file.
You will have to click onto [properties] and change the Administrators Rights ! so as the program will not continue to stop you from removing that dll.

After the job is done then just return your permissions to the orignal set ! and your done.
The mfplayer.dll file is put in by [Microsoft] to track certain movements by all users!
Just go too CA"s site and you will find the reference to the tracking issue there.
