Windows 7 & faxing

Hello:

Vonage gives me a headache, and Time Warner Cable has lousy phone offerings, but I have to use TWC for the time being, but as few lines as possible.

I need a regular phone connection (VoIP) and a fax connection. I have Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit, and a relatively new US Robotics Soft Modem (fax).

How many phone lines do I need? I essence, my question is, do I need a dedicated line for the darn fax ?

:roflmao: Hope it's a better way for you. Depends on ease of use and cost compared to phone line..etc. I haven't had a landline in years so I searched other ways.
