windows 7 freezes

hello,

let me start by saying i have been using the windows 7 beta since 7100 (x64 version) and i have been very satisfied with the results.
so i've just bought my copy of windows 7 and installed it...everything seemed alright until 30 minutes or so after instalation. the computer all windows stop responding... my mouse keeps working until i click on something then it completely stops working.. so i have to reset my computer.
i have never had this problem with the beta releases or with vista or xp.
i havent upgraded my system or anything in quite a while so it can't be new hardware

my specs are:

System Manufacturer/Model Number HP pavillion m9170.nlOS windows vista x86 + windows 7 x64 (now using vista because i can't get windows 7 working)CPU amd phenom quad core x4 9500 Motherboard asus m2n68-la Memory 4 gb ddr2 Graphics Card(s) nvidia geforce 8500 GT Sound Cardrealtek high definition audio device Monitor(s) Displays hp w2207h + medion 17" Hard Drives 1x wd 500GB
1x wd 250GB
i've tried upgrading drivers, but nothing seems to work...
so i thought maybe my cpu is getting too hot, but i can't seem to speed up my cpu fan. i've tried speedfan... but i can't control or view my fan speeds with it
i've used dr. hardware 2009 second edition to view temp.
as you can see in the picture i got +/- 62 degrees...
this is in vista... in windows 7 i get +/- 68 degrees
can anyone help?

can you type event viewer in search and go to the windows logs>application tab. Look for errors (red "X" in left hand column) that have app crash, or app hung. Note the event ID and source if listed.

i've started another thread because i've solved a little bit of my problems... looks like it wasn't overheating or anything... you can read it here:

i'll keep you updated if i find any solutions or anything, right now i'm using the 32bit version of windows 7 and that works fine for now... except that i don't use all my ram...

OK the event ID 1000 source 100 is most often caused by something called DEP. DEP, or data execution prevention keeps virii form runing executibles in special emeory areas.

It is located in the system control panel>advancedperformance options. More of ten than not it is set to all instead of the default only for MS apps.

there are instructions for enabling, and changing here DEP - Enable or Disable - Vista Forums

Hi!!!

In 2010 I bought an Acer (Laptop) which for a year works really great. The only porblem that it got's was that it getted so hot, that turns off the PC. So I take it to the service, and the give me back with this problem solved, but with a NEW one, a SOFT problem no cover by the Waranty.

New Problem: When I open a video in YOUTUBE or any Webpage, my PC gets FREEZE!!!! It must be an Update of Soft that the Waranty made. But this problem, it's strange because some times, when I turned it on, I could see 2 hours of videos in Youtube without a problem. But if I reboot it, in the first video it gets Freze.

So I checked the Logs, and I found this one:

La aplicación (C:\Windows\System32\svchost.exe -k LocalServiceNetworkRestricted) (PID: 904) pasó un puntero no NULL a RPC para un parámetro [out] marcado como [allocate(all_nodes)]. The only diferences is the PID which in your case is PID: 416


I don't know what to do, and it would be great, that if you found out the answer, you colud tell me what to do, because i am really lost.

My Guess, is a problem of the Soft, with the last Updates.
