Hi everyone!

I've installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and I'm having some problems with BSOD and system freezing. After the first install I had too many randoms BSOD, so I've decided to format and reinstall the OS. I though this would fix the problem, but it did not work.

I always check for the last updated hardware and software drivers, to avoid this kind of problem due to incompatibility.

Like I said before, even after formatting and reinstalling Windows 7 I had the freezing problem again. It did not occur with high frequency, but...
The last one happened today, just a few hours ago, while I was watching a movie. Suddenly, the video has stopped and the system was freeze.
I've checked the "Event Viewer" to see what's happening, and all the crashes I had were just the same error. But I don't know how to "read" these logs, that's why I need some help

Now I'll post the log. Thanks in advance!

Hi Alex and welcome

If you are having BSOD's there should be a dmp file we can use to dignose the cause. Its usually found in C:|wondows\minidump. (*.DMP) If it is there zip it, and upload it to use using the attachment icon (shaped like a paper clip ) on the reply form

I've checked but didn't find this folder. Used the windows search, but with no success. I also searched for *.dmp files, and found 2 files, but they weren't created today... it's probable that they were created for some critical error that happened before (today the system has just freeze... without a BSOD)

Is there any kind of other log wich can help?

I just got an BSOD a few minutes ago.
I don't know why, but the folder "Minidump" is empty, although there's a file called Memory.dmp in (C:\Windows) but it's too large.

I've copied what's on the Event Viewer:

Zip up the MEMORY.DMP file and upload it to a free file hosting service (I like Box.net - but check the size of the file before signing up). Then share it and post the link to it here.

Meanwhile, please set the system to generate minidumps. Instructions here: Set MiniDump

Sorry, but the uploaded MEMORY.DMP file appears corrupted.
We'll have to wait for the next crash to see what the minidumps have to say.

I give up... Yesterday I decided to format my pc and reinstall Windows 7, but this time I would not let windows make any update, to avoid any kind of problem again. Today, a few minutes ago, suddenly I got another BSOD.

I just don't know what more can I do...

Seems like Norton and firefox are causing you some problems. Maybe you should try a clean install without adding any third party programs and see if the problem persists.

If Windows update isn't working you should check the date on your computer and in bios to make sure they are the same.

It might also help to know what your settings are in bios like memory settings and FSB, those settings can have a profound effect on stablity so they need to be correct.
