Hello, Ive recently upgraded to windows 7 with a new computer. and it seems a lot of times when i am in a game or using some application my computer just completely freezes up and i can do nothing but turn it off holding the power button down. i recently put this computer together. i have installed windows 7 on a new hard drive.
i tried to do another install since i thought it might have messed up the first time but it is still freezing up. if i need to put more info up tell me what i need and i will try. Also, i let it stay on overnight twice with it just sitting there downloading and it did not freeze.

Hello !! Welcome to SF !!

Maybe some service or even your Internet security might be messing up. Follow this article Run Selective Startup using System Configuration and reboot the System in Selective Startup and see if that fixes it.

Good Luck,
Captain
