I'm using a Toshiba Laptop(L750-X5317) with windows 7 home premium. Last week while starting the laptop, it got stuck at "Starting Windows" screen. I then switched it off and restarted it again. It asked for "Start up repair" or "Start windows normally". I chose start windows normally. It started fine. Later on i didnt face any problems that day. Everything was normal. The next day again the same problem.

I chose start up repair. But it couldnt find any solutions. I tried to run it in Safe mode then. It gets stuck at "loading screen" every time. Then i tried clean boot method. Didnt work.
When it gets stuck at Starting windows screen and I turn d power off n switch it on again and select start windows normally, it works fine.

Then I tried this method:
" Sounds like you have hard disk errors. Use Advanced Boot Options to select Repair Your Computer and get to the System Recovery Options. Then select the command prompt. Do the following:

chkdsk /r c:
chkdsk /r d:
chkdsk /r e:
chkdsk /r f:"

There were no errors in any other drives except the f(i.e volume label/ OS installed drive) It starts "Inserting an index entry with id xxxx into index $SII of file 9." After completing it says: "Repairing the security file record segment. 165376 file SDs/SIDs processed." And stops after that. I dont know what to do next. Should i just reinstall ? Please Help !
