Was just browsing around on Engadget and found these. Apparently Microsoft had no leway to work with. And the sights like engadget didn't give them any benefit of the doubt.

personally it kinda hurt cuz i've always though of engadget as like a really reliable source, here to come to find out their vista haters.

Yeah they all always were. Despite the contorted praise being heaped on Win7 it will always be backhanded. But compared to Gizmodo these guys are much more tolerable especially since Ryan Block left.

If you ever see Gizmodo or Engadget post pictures of editors together its like they are always in an Apple store with everyone with a Macbook and an iPhone. Whats gets me is when they choose to review Win7 or Vista via a VM on OSX. It's the ultimate fanboi move.
