Hi,

Windows 7 hangs EVERY-TIME I open any application that connects to internet. Chrome, IE, Outlook, VLC Player all have the same problem. This problem started appearing only since yesterday.

Its frustrating because these applications goes into 2+ minutes of non-responsiveness before opening. Also, at times, McAfee security center automatically stops. I tried all the below things, but no help:

1) Disabled security center completely, restarted the machine & tried - NO LUCK
2) Checked the Resource Monitor-all CPUs are 100%. Not sure how monitoring wait chain can help
3) Scanned disk for errors using CHKDSK - No issues
4) Tried in Safe mode with networking - Same issue

Running out of options and patience. Please help!!

Loads of Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Mahesh

In addition you can try System Restore
to before the problem began.

Then I'd go over my system closely using Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 doing full Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware scans, installing MSE to run a full scan. checking System Files, establishing a Clean Boot, checking the logs to resolve repeat errors and utilizing the System resources to find solutions to problems and Generate a System Health Report.
