Windows 7 has sold more than 350 million licenses

Windows 7 is being pushed onto the computer market. I wanted XP when I got my laptop but I did not have the option. I would have gladly paid an extra $300 to <upgrade> from 7 to XP given the choice.

Nothing wrong with x86 - great for small devices in particular. Especially good for pe and deployment.

If people like XP - that's fine - it is supposed to be free world.

Touch screen not big deal. I set over 5 foot from my screen. I never thought back in the days that a better system than XP-PRO was ever going to happen. Then I went to Windows 7 and I'm still very happy that I did. I still have XP-PRO on a old work station because of very old programs I want to use every now and then. I think that Window 7 update could take care of the touch screen that some would want. Advancing forward is a good thing as long as isn't done blindly. Microsoft can't move any faster than vendors can. Going from 32 bit to 64 bit was a big jump and most vendors got their s------ together and got on board. Hopefully Windows 8 will give me a reason to buy. Touch screen isn't it. Micky D loves touch screen for the people they hire that can't read. One picture can say one work (fries) ect.
