How can I have an Office 2003 file stay on the desktop where it was originally located.
Every Open > Edit > Save is relocated on the Desktop as if it were a new file.
Then you have to chase it down and drag it back to where you want it.

How can I manually sort the contents of a folder ???
You can choose the sort criteria but there is no way to turn off folder content sorting that I’ve been able to find.

Whatever you do, do not try right click Sort By.
