hi all can some 1 tell me is win 7 home is best or win 7 pro now a days i m using win 7 pro 32 bit but after updates from Microsoft my wireless card not work so i decided to downgrade to win 7 home can some 1 guide me which windows is best ?

my system is Compaq hp NC 6400

2.0 core 2 due 1 GB ram..

Well for using only 1GB of RAM, running windows 7 isn't a good idea. Mostly, Win7 requires atleast 2GB of RAM. But to answer your question, I would run Win7 Home.

It's more important to get a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7
on adequate hardware than which version you run since they all perform the same.

I would upgrade to 2gb RAM if your model supports it. Google the model + memory Upgrade.

In addition I would edit the visual effects of fading, sliding, dragging intact and selection rectangle which are RAM hogs: Optimize Windows 7 - Windows 7 Forums Step 5.
