Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit not working

Hello guys

I have a problem with my new laptop since Monday.

The laptop was working perfectly since bought just before Christmas. On Monday explorer was very slow and I couldn't close it through Task Manager so I restart the laptop manually and since then windows didn't want to start. It was stopping on the user login page, however the log in option was not showing. The disk light was switched off after few minutes. So I put in recovery disk, however it was unable to recover. It was doing exactly the same thing as before.

Then I used the windows installation disk. Started with recovering but didn't work and then with installation.

During installation following error was shown:

The file or directory D:\Users is corrupt and unreadable. Please run the Chkdisk utility.

Then followed when pressed OK with error code: 0x80070570.

When turning on the laptop without the CD, the message saying that the device is not connected to my computer.
File: \Boot\BCD
status: 0xc00000e9

But I think this message is showing because in the advance options I changed in BOOT to star with CD not with hard drive.

Can you please tell me how to perform Chkdisk?

And the steps I should follow to ensure that everything will be fine and I will be able to use this laptop again.

Do you have a Recovery Disk?

If not using another Computer Make a recovery Disk and then boot into the Disk

After that Boot Into the Disk and then Attempt a Startup Repair if that Fails then please open Command Prompt and enter the Following:

bootrec.exe /fixboot

And then press enter after that enter

bootrec.exe /fixmbr

Thank you for quick reply.I put in the recovery disk as you said and when the recovery started it shown that there is none operating system. So I pressed Next and choosen Command Prompt as you said.

When I put in
bootrec.exe /fixbootI said that the operation completed successfully.

Then I put in:
bootrec.exe /fixmbrI said that the operation was completed successfully.

Then I restarted the laptop with recover disk again and did he recovery again and it showed that there is no operating system.

I think he installation of Windows 7 didn't work because of the error:
The file or directory D:\Users is corrupt and unreadable. Please run the Chkdisk utility.

Can you please tell me how to do this Chkdisk to fix the problem and be able to install the windows again, as it seems that it didn't install at all, because of the error above.

It said: The type of the file system is NTFS.
Unable to determine volume version and state. CHKDSK aborted.
Failed to transfer logged messages to the event log with status 50.

Check your HD.

For disk C: it showed that it is RAW.

For disk D: I showed the same message as before.
The type of the file system is NTFS.
Unable to determine volume version and state. CHKDSK aborted.

Then I did the Windows Memory Diagnostic both from recovery and from the installation disk (still showed a the beginning that no Windows installed) and it said that Windows cannot check for memory problems.

I burned this ES-Tool and when I put it in it said:

Can' open CD driver CD001. SHSUCDX can' install.

In blue table: TURBODSK 2.42 Drive C:
Size: 4096 Kbes
Memory: Extended (XMS)
Sector size: 512
Root entries: 384
Sectors/cluster: 4
2010 clusters (FAT12)

Then: you ram drive is loaded at c:
Out of memory error.
Bad command or filename.

Was no able to run it so start Seatools. It's 0% and it already has 70 errors. What does it mean?

The test failed.

Does it mean the disk is done?

Did you determine the HD make and use the correct HD make diagnostics? Seatools is good but would be best for Seagate HD.

If you have a Seagate HD and ran the extended CD scan and it fails repeatedly as given then your HD cannot be repaired and needs replacement.

If you can boot the Repair Disk or Win7 DVD then you might be able to copy out your files using this method: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/93347-copy-paste-windows-recovery-console.html

If not and you need files that are on HD, try Paragon Rescue CD.
