Hi there,

I have been having this problem for about 2 weeks. I have tried disabling various services but have not had any luck narrowing it down. I have attached the Dump & System files. I am unable to create a System Health Report since it cannot be created in Safe Mode and my computer locks up before I can create it in normal windows.

My computer is a Toshiba Satellite L675D Laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit w/ SP1 OEM. It's about 1.5 years old.

Thanks

Scott

I don't know for sure if this is related or not, but you have a ton of errors in COM about not being able to start the Functional Discovery Provider Host (FdpHost Configuration), which is causing other service starts to fail. Also, I noticed that almost every time your system reported an unclean shutdown event, the last thing it logged was that the Lbd Ad-Aware antimalware filter driver had just loaded and registered itself. A quick bing and google search has shown that this isn't exactly uncommon, so you might want to consider removal of that program (and using autoruns to make sure it's cleaned up if it is left behind by the uninstaller) to see if that helps any.

I removed the Ad-Aware and ran Autoruns, but that didn't help. Still locking up.

"you have a ton of errors in COM", can you tell me which file you see this in.

Thanks

By "locks up", can you be more specific? Is the hard disk still active? Can you move the mouse and have the cursor move? Does the numlock key on the keyboard still illuminate and switch back off if you press numlock? Is it a PS/2 or USB keyboard and mouse?

Its a laptop so keyboard is built-in. When it locks, nothing works. No USB mouse, touchpad, keyboard, HD activity. nothing. Locked.
