Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit BSOD

My windows 7 Home Premium has been crashing for a while now, i have been getting the BSOD. The PC was bought directly from the store no changes have been made to the hardware nor the OS. I updated several drivers including the audio and video to see if the crashing would stop but it didn't. About 5 days ago the pc wouldn't start at all I thought it was a problem with the RAM (it originally came with 3gb a 1gb + 2gb sticks) I removed the 1 gb and it was able to boot. I tested both ram sticks individually to see if they had any errors, no errors found.At the moment the perfmon report was conducted only the 1gb stick was installed.

I have attached the perfmon report and several mini dump files. i also have norton 360 installed ive heard that it might be a cause for bsod, it would be greatly appreciated if you can help me figure what the problem is.

Probably caused by : SYMDS64.SYS ( SYMDS64+669d4 )

I would remove and replace with Microsoft Security Essentials

Hey thank you so much for the fast response! Question after i uninstalled Norton 360 a little later my pc crashed again. and even when trying to start in safe mode i would get the bsod. It got to a point where it wouldn't boot at all and all i would get was a long beep, the light on the front of pc and the fan were on but no video. Could it still be Norton 360? i didnt see your post link for the norton removal tool so i uninstalled it directly from the application. Could that be the problem? Well i restore the OS to its factory settings do you think that will do it? And for future reference if Norton is not removed properly will it still cause the pc to crash even in safe mode as it did?

I doubt it was Norton that is causing the current problem but a restore would help if it is software related. If it is hardware it would not.
