My windows folder says that windows is using 19.4 GB how is that ?
system protection is off all restore points have been deleted,temp/%temp% folders got cleaned also used disk clean up and the size is still the same....shouldn't it be 10GB max ?

I see,then i guess it ain't no problem,i brought this up because ill be getting the Samsung pro 128gb and thought to find out if the size of Windows can be less than this but it doesn't really matter for now,thanks!

The disk usage isn't quite what it appears. With the NTFS file system folder disk usage numbers are at best only an approximation. NTFS has long had the feature where a single copy of a file can appear in multiple folders. This feature wasn't used in Windows until Vista but is now used extensively in the winsxs folder. This leads to quite a bit of double counting of files. There are numerous other complications as well.
