Have spent all afternoon trying to sort this and am close to giving up but thought I would post some logs in here in one last attempt. Have completed all important and optional Windows updates but the installation of IE10 fails everytime with error 9C59. Have tried manual download and same issues.
SFC scan has no issues.

CBS logs attached if anyone has any bright ideas. Please let me know if you require any more information.

Hi Noel, thank you for your reply. I had problems with the CBS folder being too large to attach so may have deleted the wrong file sorry about this. I have run SFC again and confirmed CheckSUR log is included.

I'm not sure exactly what this means - perhaps looking at the windowsupdate.log file would help - please attach it to your reply

It looks to me as if there's a problem with the Windows Update Agent.

Unfortunately, I don't know of any good fix for this apart from a repair install - often such problems are the result of significant registry corruption.

From the log, there appear to be a number of updates pending - exactly which ones are they? What error message is attached to each in the Update History log?
