windows 7 instal/boot problems.
Hey guys im having several problems with windows 7 instaling on my custom build PC
I install windows 7... reaches at the.. completing installation... then it cuts off it reboots then says there was an error in the installation and tries to go back then my PC restarts again. tried to start it with safe mode then it says the installation cannot be completed in safe mode meaning it hasn't finished yet.
I did wipe my harddrive fully clean... and its IDE

Try removing all but 1 stick of ram and reinstall.. let us know how it goes...

I'd guess that there was an issue with your external media - either the DVD or the drive itself. (from Problem Signature 05).

Have you disconnected everything connected to the external ports on your system (such as the external drive)?
