Where did you get Win7? Did you burn the disk yourself? How is it being activated?

Back up your files, unplug all other HD's and peripherals,

Boot into BIOS setup to enable Legacy BIOS if present. Next check BIOS Boot order for an EFI Boot Disk: remove it, set DVD drive first to boot, HD second. Then set SATA controller to AHCI. Save changes and Exit.

Then boot into installer DVD or flash stick burned or written using tool and latest ISO for your licensed here.

At first installer screen Press Shift + F10 to open a Command Box, type:

DISKPART
LIST DISK
SEL DIS 0 (after confirming Windows 7 target HD #)
CLEAN
CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY SIZE=102400 (for 100gb partition, adjust as desired)
FORMAT FS=NTFS LABEL="WINDOWS 7"
ACTIVE
EXIT
EXIT

Next click Install Now to Clean Install Windows 7 to the partition you created. If it fails then report back at which step and the verbatim error message.

In addition read over these steps to understand the tools and methods which work best to get and maintain a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7. The steps are the same for retail.

You just need the driver for the Wireless or Ethernet (if wired) method you use to connect as Windows Updates will update the rest once you get online to do all Updates.

Be sure to put in your exact model or Tag number to get the most accurate drivers under Network, LAN or Wireless/Ethernet.

Yes, on the Downloads page select Win7 32 bit. Try Broadcom or Atheros Wireless LAN driver to see which installs, then connect to your network via the wireless icon in bottom right System Tray.

Do all optional and Important Windows Updates with several reboots, then check Device Manager for any missing drivers.

If it doesn't specify which in Device Manager then either try installing each until it works, or trace the maker using Hardware Identification.

This is why I specfied to back up the wireless driver ahead of time in the tutorial. What was so hard to understand about that? Or do you ask for help so you can ignore it until you get in trouble?

i did that and used broadcom everything was a success. updating rest of drivers. thank you glen everything went smothly you rock :D
