Windows 7 install DVD won't boot because of corrupt files

I've been trying out several tutorials such as the sfc, bootrec etc.

Nothing seems to work. I can use a windows repair disc but it's not fixing the problem. When I use my windows 7 installer, upon boot it loads driver and stuff but then gives out this error (attached pic)

So I tried sfc and bootrec but the problem still persists.

Hoping you guys can help me. All my data is secured and I just want to wipe everything and install from scratch.

I always use a Partition Wizard Boot CD to setup a drive. But your install disc should do everything you need, but if it`s corrupt you need to create a new one.

If you need to create a new install dvd follow the instructions on this page to download the iso file you need, then burn to dvd at no faster then x4 speed.

I already have the iso. I just can't get past that corrupt file thing. I guess i'll try those. I just ran out of DVDs though so I'll try tomorrow.

Then maybe your iso is corrupted ??

This is driving me crazy. The last iso I had came from the website you gave (techbench) and it was with the help of microsoft customer support (remote)

So i used partition and wiped everything, restart with the install disc and the same error popped up. Currently using my repair disk to restore my back up.

I guess the ISO is the problem, but it came from Microsoft and the download finished properly. Used poweriso and burned at 4x only.

Are you positive you are booting from the disc ?

The 1st line on your screen says "Windows failed to start"

Yes, there's no other boot available.
Screen says press a key to boot from cd/dvd
Laptop loads drivers and stuff, then it gives that error.

My repair disc works. Just not the install disc. I have 5 already made. The last one came from that techbench technique

I used poweriso to burn the dvds at 4x

No there`s no need for that.

If you have a 4GB or larger flash drive, use Rufus to create a Windows 7 install flash drive. Try that instead of DVD.

did what you suggested. same error popped up.

I guess the ISO is the problem but I don't understand why. It's from microsoft.

so this is the problem. Everytime I download it stops at almost 2gb. Sometimes it shows a 2.4gb file but when burned to DVD or to USB, it's not the full 2.4gb....

I'm not sure how to proceed after this because I can't download the iso properly.

If it's not too much to ask, does anyone out there have the ISO file on dropbox?

Just use this site, install utorrent to download it, yes it`s safe. Good luck with the language, it may not have what you want

No clue why you`re having issues from the MS site.

Make sure you disconnect everything from the computer except mouse, keyboard and display, everything. If you have multiple hard drives disconnect all except the one you are installing to.

Also, are you sure you want the Starter edition? I wouldn't think an Acer Aspire laptop would use Starter.
