Hi.

I have been running Windows 7 RTM, 32 bit, for a coupla months now, rearming every 30 days. Yesterday i decided to reformat , but as I don't have a large enough backup drive, I used a partition tool (EADEM or something i think) to split the hard drive so i can backup. I then booted up into the setup disk and chose the C:/ drive to install to. It said that it was system. the install process went smoothly untill it tried to boot up into windows, when it simply was a blank screen with a cursor that I could move.

After this i re-reformatted several times, both with and without my external hard drive in. I know that the disk is not corrupted as i have installed Windows 7 with it several times. I cannot find my original ISO.

Please help me!

Edit: disregard this, im a total idiot, forogt that i had a second monitor installed

Heck, I thought you had a hard problem. Go to Here and download the Technet Win 7 Enterprise Evaluation. The eval is good for 90 days.

hi, I'm currently using winXP and trying to install Win7... I used to have 2 partitions in my 160gb hard drive but merged them because I wanted to run just win7 32bit... already made my back up and all those stuff..at the time to run the win7 ultimate dvd and begin the install it stuck and don't progress after 7% of expanding windows files.. i was told that it should take up to 45mins more less but left it for almost 3 hours and didn't got through.. i'm getting frustrated because of it... if someone can give any idea or help I would appreciate...

Well the first thing you can do is create your own thread, don't reply to an old one that is totally unrelated. The second thing you can do is word your problem and issues comprehensively.

Do this and then maybe someone will help you.
