Windows 7 Install Trouble

I allowed my friend to use my computer and went away for a few minutes; during that time, he managed to access a malicious website and get multiple viruses on my computer. I don't have any important data on that computer, so I figure that it would be easier just to reformat my hard-drive and reinstall Windows 7 RC 64-bit.

I have done so once in the past with no problems; this time however, I manage to get past the screen which says: "Windows is loading files" at the bottom and up to the screen with the Windows logo and "Starting Windows" written under it, then my computer crashes and all that I see on my screen is blue colored static that changes direction.

Is there any solution to this problem?

-GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD3R rev. 1.6 Mobo F8 (or FB I can't tell, it's the one that came with the Mobo when I got it two weeks ago) BIOS
-Intel Core i7 920 2.66 GHz
-6GB OCZ Gold DDR3 RAM
-EVGA 260 GTX Graphics Card
-Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Titanium
-LG IDE CD-Drive
-Western Digital SATA HDD (Separated into two partitions, 1 for Windows, the other for Data)

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi p014k, welcome to the forums.

You find installing in safe mode a viable option.

Try THIS method and see if it helps.

Once you 'Press any key to boot from CD/DVD...' start pressing F8 to get the boot options up and select 'Safe Mode' from the off-set
