windows 7 installation (help!)

My friends laptop has an Unauthenticated windows 7 OS. Every now and then there is a message pops-out and telling that the Win7 in not authenticated.

Here is the question:
If i am trying to install an authenticated version of windows 7 32bit, the files in my friends laptop will be deleted?


and please show me an instruction how to install it on a laptop.

Back up the files externally first.

Then follow these same steps for Clean Reinstall Windows 7 Factory OEM providing the new Win7 Product Key during installation.
