This hard disk was probably wiped clean since you got it at an auction. You need to follow the installation steps to format the HD.

Lots of old used spare computer parts everywhere!
Check out this tutorial. Several sections down thru it, shows a Red Box section where you have the option to delete HD partition & then make a new partition, then Format the new partition.

That error can mean that the BIOS is set to UEFI boot, so tap the key given on first screen to enter BIOS setup, look for any settings to disable Secure Boot and enable Legacy Mode or CSM, save settings and exit. This will Bypass UEFI to Install WIn7.
If it fails again follow the steps in the blue link to wipe the HD before install.
If you confirm it's UEFI BIOS you can also consider UEFI BIOS vs. Legacy BIOS - YouTube, however installing to UEFI requires special steps for UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) - Install Windows 7 with - Windows 7 Forums.
