Windows 7 installation problem!! help

i just installed Windows 7, and yes i checked its compatibility it was fine, I installed it on my gateway desktop pc and then after like 3 hours of installation it finally finishes and boots up, it asks me for product key, i press next i didn't enter one, then i set up my time and then it says loading.. then it restarts and now everytime i boot up it takes me to system recovery with a couple options startup repair etc. i tried them all it doesn't work help appreciated

Did you uncheck the activate when online option when you skipped the enter key box?

How did you install 7, and where did you get the software?

What were the options you refer to as etc.?

Boot into the installer and select Repair my Computer.

See if it finds an installation to repair.

Run Startup repair repeatedly until it starts up - it might have more than one issue to fix.
