Hi Sevenforums,

I successfully installed Windows 7 in my laptop but I have issue with my HDD. This it the thing, I have 2 partitioned in my HDD C:\ for the windows and D:\ for my personal data. After the installation of the Window 7 Professional and show the desktop, I go to the My Computer to check on the drives and I only found C:. I looked on the Computer Management in Administrative Tools and found the D: drive but I can't access it or even explore it. It shows that it's healthy but I don't understand why it's not showing the My Computer. They have the same format with the C:\ drive which is NTFS format.

Please help me on this issue... need you help guys.. If I can't solve it, I need to go back to WinXP to access back again my old file in D: drive.

Or you can download Partition Wizard.

It alllows you to format your HD anyway you wish as well as resize, expand, etc etc.

We had a poster earlier that had somehow, during the install, had one of his partitions hidden. Maybe he did it himself and forgot or not, still not clear.

But if you cannot give a drive letter to the partition, you might try Partition Wizard, as suggested, to look at the partition to see if something like that is going on.
