Have been unable to log in to Twitter for over a week with any browser. Tried clearing cache, turning off firewall to no avail. Ran Spybot but nothing was found. Was able to log in through a proxy site for one day but no longer. Tried MSIE 8 and Firefox 3.6 on ASUS U50A laptop. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi:

This is the error message I get when trying to open Twitter in a tab:
File not found

Firefox can't find the file at jar:file:///C:/Program Files (x86)/Mozilla Firefox/chrome/en-US.jar!/locale/browser-region/region.propertiestwitter.

* Check the file name for capitalization or other typing errors.

* Check to see if the file was moved, renamed or deleted.
Thanks again for any suggestions.

Hello and thanks for the suggestions. I launched Firefox in safe mode and got the same error message: File not found... I have also looked at the host file but didn't see anything that looked wrong. I still believe the problem is not with the browsers but with either the computer or the ISP. If you have any more ideas I would love to try.

Thank you.
