Hi,

I just recently upgraded my computer to Windows 7, I had Windows Vista.

Windows Vista had a lag issue where it'll cause a lag spike everyone 60 seconds or so...with the research I've done, this was only with vista. but I discover now that not only vista has this problem, windows 7 does too.

Now, what worked for me on vista was to type this in cmd

netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=no interface="wireless network connection"

that does not work on windows 7

I don't know what to do, I tried googling, told me to download some program wlan or something, that did not work.

Is there a solution to this? I can't any games with this issue at all. I'm starting to not like windows 7

Make sure you get the latest firmware for your wireless router and update the drivers to your network card. I had some insane issue with Windows 7 when it came to the speed, but after updating the firmware and tweaking the settings on my wireless router, it's been heaven ever since. You don't need to download any programs. My Dell XPS 400 seems to run like it has a quad core processor now. :D

This is my average speed and it reaches 22MBps sometimes.

Check out my other settings below in the image.

This did not work for me sorry.

does anyone else have a solution? I mean if vista had one, I'm sure windows 7 does.

It's just irritating to even play a game if I lag every minute...
